At Northern Learning Trust we aim to improve the potential and raise the aspiration of people through learning. Much of our work is with vulnerable and disadvantaged people and communities with complex needs. We use informal learning and mentoring to build confidence and skills, and help people find solutions to their problems.
We are a small organisation with ambitious plans to grow and expand our services across the region. To support us in this we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of our programmes, manage our creative and talented team, ensure that project targets are achieved and that our provision continues to meet the needs of our beneficiaries and stakeholders.
You will be an experienced manager with a strong track record in contract, performance and people management and will work alongside the Chief Executive and the Business Manager to support the development and growth of the Trust. You will have the ability to be innovative and creative in your approach, and the people skills and confidence to lead and motivate your team of staff and volunteers to exceed expectations in delivering our services.
We are passionate about the work we do and need a person who understands our values and believes in our mission. In return we offer you the opportunity to join a forward thinking and supportive organisation at an exciting stage in its development. We value our team members and offer a competitive salary, flexible working patterns and a friendly, supportive work environment.
