Outreach Support Worker
Aim of the Outreach Support Workers Role
To provide each service user with the appropriate support and care, to enable him/her to achieve a good quality of life.
The Support Worker is accountable to the allocated Principal Team Manager within Coquet Trust.
To work closely with the Team Manager and any other involved outreach workers to ensure that Coquet Trust Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures are understood and carried out.
To contribute towards the smooth working of the team by having a positive and supportive relationship with colleagues and others involved in the support of service users.
To adhere to the quality standards expected by Coquet Trust.
To take part in training and development programmes as and when expected
To use own initiative where necessary when working with service users.
To support service users in their decision making.
To ensure that service users have every opportunity to get involved in community activities as agreed with relatives and care manager.
To work closely with the Team Manager regarding service users’ personal budgetary commitments.
To ensure service users safety needs are met and protect the service user from any form of abuse.
To bring to the attention of the Trust Manager in confidence any concerns relating to the care and wellbeing of the service user.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £8.21 /hour
