East Durham Trust are seeking a motivated and dynamic Partnership Support Officer to support the facilitation of an exciting programme of transformation for Information, Advice and Guidance services across East Durham. Funded through the National Lottery Community Fund until 2025 East Durham Connected is a partnership of VCS organisations, statutory providers and strategic bodies working together to deliver a proactive 4-year development and transformation programme for improved delivery of community IAG across East Durham. To better meet the complex needs of our vulnerable and marginalised communities the East Durham Connected programme aims to create a truly coordinated and connected referral and support system and network of improved community infrastructure across all four corners of East Durham.
The trust operates on a community led hub and spoke model, and seeks to utilise, support and activate community-based assets as a first priority. Through this model, the trust ensures a networked impact in engagement hard to reach and seldom heard communities. Effective partnerships are central to our model.
The East Durham Connected Partnership Support Officer is a front facing post and is based in Community House, Peterlee however post holder will need to move around East Durham to meet our communities where they are and may, at times, work within other settings and services.
