Age UK County Durham is the ‘go to’ organisation for older people across the County. We deliver a wide range of activities, wellbeing services, mental and physical health services, advice and information to all people over the age of 50 living in County Durham. The Digital Inclusion Programme is an innovative  project encouraging and supporting older people to engage with online services necessary to living well. The Programme Co-ordinator will manage the effective delivery of the Digital Inclusion Programme to people over the age of 50 across County Durham, planning information events, leading a team of Digital Champions and learning sessions and establishing corporate partnerships.

This opportunity would suit someone who has the natural ability to build relationships and possesses excellent organisational and project management skills. You will have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to help develop manage and deliver our digital inclusion support service to older people through a team of trained Digital Champions.

We are looking for an individual who understands the barriers older people may feel towards the digital world, someone with a good grasp of IT and who has some experience or knowledge of the voluntary sector.  Based at our head office at Belmont Business Park, Durham DH1 1TW.  This post will require you to have access to a car and have a clean driving licence. The post will be subject to a DBS check.
