We are looking for someone with a background of working / volunteering with vulnerable people including those who have complex and/or chaotic lifestyles and providing the level of support required to assist them in making positive changes.
If you have an understanding of the range of issues that this client group would need to be supported through, have an open and caring attitude to those in society who are experiencing housing, benefit and poverty issues alongside low self-esteem, low self-confidence and struggling to see positive ways forward then we would love to have you on our team.
We need someone who is practical, resourceful, energetic, empathic, caring but firm, have a positive outlook on problem solving and are looking for a new challenge. Experience in homelessness and welfare benefits is desirable alongside experience and knowledge in two or more of the key areas that affect homeless people or those living in poverty such as addictions, mental health issues, debt, poor budgeting skills abusive relationships, breakdown of family relationships, tenancy requirements, behavioural management, anti-social behaviour. Training will be given for this post.
