Building Futures East is looking to recruit a full time permanent Local Programmes Officer to lead in the development, co-ordination and delivery of our East End Women programme and the Local programmes projects that comprise this. This work will be part of a National Lottery Community Fund project in partnership with Pottery Bank Community Centre called ‘Women Together’ providing a range of services and support to women across the East End of Newcastle.
As part of the Local Programmes Team you will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of local social action initiatives within both the partnership project and across the organisation to strengthen local communities and support them in implementing local solutions to the issues that they prioritise.
