Service Manager, Family Outreach and Volunteer Service - Integrated within the Growing Healthy Stockton-on-Tees 0-19 Healthy Child Programme (HCP), Stockton-On-Tees
37 hours per week

Grade 4 (lower): £34,373 - £38,535 per annum
 

Family Action is a charity committed to building stronger families by delivering innovative and effective services and support that reaches out to many of the UK’s most vulnerable children, young people and their families. We seek to empower people and communities to address their issues and challenges through practical, financial and emotional help.

 

Family Action delivers family support as part of the Stockton on Tees 0-19 service, in partnership with Harrogate and District Foundation Trust. We are looking for a passionate and resilient individual, with direct practice experience, to manage Family Action’s Family Outreach and Volunteering Service. You will lead a team to ensure that children are able to get the right support at the right time in line with public health priorities across the 0-19 age range and have a clear commitment to working in a one team approach.

You will have experience in managing and leading a team of staff and volunteers; have proven knowledge of evidenced based outcome work with families alongside robust safeguarding and risk management experience. You will need enthusiasm and commitment to work in a dynamic that requires investment in multi-agency relationships.

The post will involve working across the locality of Stockton-On-Tees. You must have access to a vehicle for business purposes and be able to travel frequently, with the expectation you will work collaboratively with Family Action & key delivery partners across the North Region of the country.
