We are pleased to announce that we have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Debt Supervisor to join our thriving MaPS project. The successful post holder will provide effective support to Debt Advisers by ensuring that the advice provided to over-indebted clients is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. The Technical Debt Supervisor will ensure that casework meets the standards in place by the Money and Pensions Service and also Citizen’s Advice County Durham
Role: Technical Debt Supervisor
Contracted Hours – 37 Hours per week
Salary – £25,347
Location – Countywide
Duration – Permanent
Due to funder requirements applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have delivered 2200 hours of debt advice, in the last 3 years or equivalent in part time excluding sickness, holidays and other work commitments. Applicants who do not possess one of the qualifications set out within the job description will be required to successfully pass a competency/knowledge based test set by the funder
Key work areas and tasks:
Improve and sustain high quality and recording of debt advice through structured adviser centred supervisions
Carry out observations of Debt Caseworker interviews
Provide real time and consistent technical support and advice to Debt Caseworkers
Attend quarterly supervision forums hosted by National Citizens Advice.
