About the Trustee role

Trustees have an important and interesting role within charities to ensure that the organisation is well run and fulfils all its current and future commitments to those it serves.  We are an ambitious charity affiliated to national Mind with a current turnover of £750k plus p.a. Our Board of Trustees meet every other month and meetings usually take place online. We encourage Trustees to join Task and Finish Groups, and we propose to set up a Finance, Audit and Risk Sub Committee which the successful candidate will chair. Trustees are also encouraged to help the organisation by working with the senior management team on time-limited groups and in areas like fundraising, governance and HR.
