Sherburn House Charity is seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated people to join as Trustees for the Charity.
Sherburn House Charity provides residential care and sheltered housing to older people from listed buildings within a beautiful conservation area at Sherburn House, Durham.
As we undertake a substantial refurbishment of the care home during 2017 - 2019, as well as our adult housing and social care services, we also provide small grants to individuals across the North East, from the Tweed to the Tees.
We wish to maintain a diverse, dynamic Trustee Board with people from across the community. We wish to attract a Board that is diverse in thought and experience to replace those Trustees due to retire in 2019.
Strategic Governance is a crucial part of our continuing success for our organisation. If you have recent Board Experience, or wish to develop your skills in this area we would love to hear from you.
If you would like to discuss the role with us, please contact Patricia Smart (HR and Executive Assistant) in the first instance, and she will arrange for you to come and meet the Chief Executive and/or the Chair. Alternatively you can request an information pack by telephone on 0191 372 2551 or send an email to email@example.com.
