Sherburn House Charity is seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated people to join as Trustees for the Charity
Sherburn House Charity provides residential care and sheltered housing to older people from listed buildings within a beautiful conservation area at Sherburn House, Durham.
As we undertake a substantial refurbishment of the care home during 2017 – 2019, we will also incorporate Extra Care accommodation onto our housing portfolio. As well as our adult housing and social care services we also provide small grants to individuals across the North East, from the Tweed to the Tees.
We wish to maintain a diverse, dynamic Trustee Board with knowledge of and experience of governance within the charity sector. We wish to attract a board that is diverse in thought and experience to replace those Trustees due to retire in 2019.
We want to maintain and enhance Board diversity and look to recruit from the widest possible experience and skill base.
Strategic Governance is a crucial part of our continuing success or our organisation. If you have recent Board Experience within Health, Housing or Social Care, we would particularly love to hear from you.
If you are interested and would like to receive an information pack, please get in touch by contacting Patricia Smart, HR and Executive Assistant, Sherburn House Charity, Ramsey House, Durham DH1 2SE. Tel 0191 372 2551 or email email@example.com.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an informal discussion with the Charity’s Chief Executive and/or Chair of Trustees.
