Wheels 2 Work County Durham - Helping people into employment.

We are a small charity which offers moped loans to people struggling to get to work, training and apprenticeships.

We are looking for volunteers to help support the management and development of the charity and have vacancies for Trustee positions on our Management Board.

Our Trustees provide advice and guidance to the delivery team comprising 3 members of staff. Trustees offer general support, help direct the future of the project and are involved in strategic decisions and issues surrounding governance.

We are ideally looking for professional knowledge, experience and skills in at least one of the following areas: Accountancy, HR, PR & Marketing, Business, Fundraising & IT.

If you would like to support us and be part of a unique transport initiative please get in touch. Expressions of interest should be supplied with a CV and covering letter detailing your employment history, vocational experience, hobbies and interests and other voluntary work that you have done/are doing.

Applicants will be invited to an informal meeting for a friendly chat with the Project Manager and one of the existing Trustees. The management board currently meets approximately once every 2 months at Bullion Hall Community Centre, South Approach, in Chester-le-Street, DH2 2DW. Trustee positions are entirely voluntary.
