We are currently seeking a motivated and focused self-starter to join our successful team:
Job Title: Wellbeing for Life Senior Practitioner
Location: East Area
Band/Salary: PCP Band 6, £21,391 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. (Given the nature of the role it is expected that the post-holder will work flexibly. This may include working extended hours, evenings and weekends).
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 March 2020
The aim of Wellbeing for Life Senior Practitioners will be to support the management of Wellbeing Practitioners, whilst encouraging participation and managing a caseload of clients aged 16 years and above to support them through behaviour and lifestyle changes and to assist them to achieve their goals.
To work with partners and existing groups to develop the referral pathways for support.
To develop new services/activities/groups for the community based on identified health need.
To promote activities, including managing events and publicity campaigns.
To line manage staff and develop the staff model for the service based on identified competencies required to deliver the client journey.
To manage a caseload of individuals/groups and maintain regular supportive contact with each person.
Key skills required:
You should have experience of managing staff, using referral pathways to signposting, working in the community or voluntary sectors, delivering 1-2-1 and group workshop activities.
You need to have a relevant vocational qualification to Level 3, excellent communication, organisational, time management and interpersonal skills and be a team player.
