The role of the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for the young people at KEY. This is a new role and will provide the person appointed an exciting opportunity of launching and developing the service. The practioner wll be part of KEY's prevention and accoommodation team working alongside our mediators and progression coaches. We are seeking an experienced practitioner who can deliver low intensity CBT interventions, promote positive mental health coping strategies, and the overall wellbeing of our clients, staff and volunteers, through the use of therapy vehicles (such as supported self-help) that ultimately empower people to take control of their own mental health and wellbeing
Hours: 37 per week, occasional unsocial hours (evenings and weekends)
Contract: Fixed Term, 24 months (with view to becoming permanent thereafter, subject to funding)
Holiday entitlement: 28 days + 8 days bank holidays
Plus, employer’s pension contribution 5%, employees’ contribution 5%.
