A new opportunity in Training

We are expanding our training team as a result of our success in delivering programmes to north east employers to raise awareness of mental health and strategies to manage mental well-being.

The post holder will work alongside our Training Manager to deliver training and consultancy for employers across sectors (private, public and voluntary). This will include nationally recognised packages such as Mental Health First Aid and Mind’s national training offer, and bespoke packages for local workplaces. These will include mental health, wellbeing and resilience training, as well as training for line managers who are supporting staff with mental health issues. This training is all underpinned by Mind’s values and approach.

Depending on the evidenced skills and experience of the successful applicant, consultancy work, product development and relationship development work may be included in the job role, and therefore reflected in the hours and salary offered. This will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The post holder will be able to understand and make appropriate connections between these training activities and other Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind activities and services.
