£27,000 per annum
Established in 1994, North Tyneside Carers’ Centre provides practical and emotional support to unpaid family carers in North Tyneside.This is an exciting time of growth and development for both the organisation and the Young Carers’ Project in improving recognition and support for young carers.
The post holder will manage the Young Carers’ Project on a day to day basis to ensure we deliver needs led services to young carers and meet our contractual and grant requirements. They will also identify new opportunities to develop or grow our services. This is a key post requiring a highly motivated individual who shares our vision, has an understanding and sensitivity to carers’ issues, the ability to deliver impact and the skills to lead a diverse team delivering frontline services. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, they will make an active contribution to the management and development of the organisation as a whole.
The post holder must have at least 2 years’ project management experience supporting children and young people. This includes experience: working at a strategic level to influence change; implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to report impact; managing risk in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults; and HR management.
