Lankelly Chase Foundation are inviting applications for bursaries offering £3,000 to take part in their Systems Changers programme.  Read on for further details from them on the programme.

Systems Changers is a new programme from Lankelly Chase Foundation for people working in the area of severe and multiple disadvantage (homelessness, domestic violence, contact with criminal justice, mental health etc).

All too often, the voices of frontline workers don’t get heard and their valuable knowledge gets lost. The purpose of this programme is to help frontline workers’ insights have more influence over the wider systems they work in.

The programme will include:

  • A residential at the start and end of the programme
  • Learning days to develop and refine your skills and give you new tools to use
  • Field trips to visit other organisations and meet other practitioners
  • Peer coaching and mentoring support
  • Talks and interactive sessions with experts across policy-making, procurement, funding, cultural change, systems mapping, user-centred design, power and influencing,  storytelling, movement-building and technology.

By taking part in the programme we believe that:

  • You will have space to reflect on your experience and insights
  • You will develop new skills and methods to enable your ideas to have more impact
  • You will uncover different ways for your insight to have wider influence
  • You will meet others who are also working on the frontline and thinking about how to have more influence across the wider system
  • You will participate in workshops run by leading practitioners across a range of fields
  • You will get one to one coaching to support your development
  • Your organisation will feel energised by your participation in the programme as you amplify your insight and take your colleagues on a journey with you

We hope you will finish the programme with a much broader understanding of the system in which you operate and will have the tools and networks to start to realise change.
