North Tyneside Voluntary Organisations’ Development Agency (VODA) is running a series of online bereavement and loss training sessions to support VCSE organisations across North Tyneside.
Many people have experienced loss in recent months, and VODA argues it's important for VCSE sector staff and volunteers to be aware of, and sensitive to this fact. This training is at three different levels and will provide all volunteers and staff members with the tools they need to support someone through the process of bereavement.
The first session is aimed specifically at frontline workers and volunteers and is delivered by Marie Curie. The second is aimed at line managers, social prescribers, care navigators, test and trace officers and mental health first aiders, while the third is intended for senior management staff. All sessions are tailored to ensure attendees get as much out of them as possible.
Each session will run several times throughout November and December. To find out more, visit the VODA website.
