Have your say on the state of the North East social enterprise sector

Social Enterprise UK is calling on organisations in the sector to take part in the State of Social Enterprise (SOSE) survey 2021.

The UK’s biggest and most important survey of social enterprise, the findings provide a definitive guide to the state of the sector in the UK, with data on turnover, scale, who social enterprises employ, where they operate, who they trade with, pay ratios and more. Published every two years, the report is the place to go to for in-depth information on social enterprise, having led to more than £2 billion funding and investment.

The survey data is requested on a constant basis by government and it informs funding and support to social enterprise by national and regional infrastructure organisations.

The SOSE survey is run by research company BMG on behalf of Social Enterprise UK. You can take part by phone – or via a unique link to the online version.

It takes 20-25 minutes. You will be asked about your business model, size, staffing, access to funding and finance and impact.

To take part in the survey let BMG know how you’d like to be contacted by using this online form.
