In response to the impact of Covid-19, Catalyst Stockton has developed a ‘Covid Community Support Team’ in partnership with Stockton Borough Council and a number of local voluntary organisations, to coordinate support and get help to those who need it most.
The team is spearheading a major push to go out into communities to help the most vulnerable and the elderly in Stockton.
It can help with:
- providing essential food supplies
- collecting up prescriptions
- walking or taking care of pets
- listening on the phone and giving emotional support and more.
You can talk to one of the team seven days a week from 8am to 6pm on 01642 524500 or by emailing email@example.com.
More details on the Catalyst Stockton website.
Read the press release on Stockton Borough Council's website.
Catalyst is asking that loval voluntary and community groups and social enterprises update their details so the team can identify organisations that may be able to offer support to people who are vulnerable or self-isolating due to the Covid-19 pandemic. You can do that on the Catalyst Stockton membership form.
