New report highlights the impact of Covid-19 on region's most vulnerable

VONNE has been working with Public Health England and North Cumbria and the North East Applied Research Collaborative (ARC) to look at the direct and indirect impact of Covid-19 on our most vulnerable groups. 

The rapid research found that funding is the most critical issue facing the VCSE sector and the threats with the greatest potential to increase health inequalities are digital exclusion, funding bodies prioritising Covid-19 at the expense of other areas of need, and the withdrawal of services that are often the only source of support for the most vulnerable people.

However, positive outcomes included finding new ways of using technology to deliver services and increased partnership working and new collaborations. Download the full report.
