New Winter Resilience Fund offers up to £25K in support

The NHS Integrated Care System (ICS) for the North East and North Cumbria's new Winter Resilience Fund exists to provide financial support for voluntary organisations and community groups that are providing health and wellbeing support and have struggled financially during Covid-19.

Some CCGs within the North East & North Cumbria (Northumberland, Newcastle-Gateshead and North Tyneside) have opted out of this fund and will be distributing the funding in their own areas.

Grants of up to £25,000, provided through the ICS mental health programme, will be considered (in exceptional circumstances a higher amount might be considered) to be fully spent by March 31st next year, helping organisations that have had limited access to funding, lost funding or had an increase in workload due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Priority will be given to locally-based community organisations that support the health and wellbeing, including mental health, of local people.  The CCG areas that are covered by this funding include South Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham, Tees Valley and North Cumbria.

The closing date for applications is December 11th. Please read the grant guidelines carefully before applying. Apply at ukcf.secure.force.com/forms/northeastics2021.
