The following resources provide useful advice for all VCSE organisations that want to support Ukraine and people arriving in the UK.

Homes for Ukraine and Ukrainian arrivals
- The UK government's Homes for Ukraine scheme has now launched with the government issuing initial guidance for local councils in England in supporting the scheme, guidance for sponsors, guidance for voluntary and community sector organisations looking to facilitate matches, and a guide for Ukrainians arriving in the UK.
- Gov.uk has a list of voluntary and community sector organisations running schemes which provide support for and help match people coming from Ukraine with sponsors in the UK, as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
- RESET are leading on the design of the Homes for Ukraine scheme and have published a toolkit resource guide for sponsors.
Support for Ukrainian arrivals
- Red Cross have downloadable advice guides for Ukrainians arriving in the UK which are available in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
- Unseen has worked with STOP THE TRAFFIK and Hope for Justice on this website full of useful information for Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK – with a view to making their lives easier and keeping them safe from the very real threat of exploitation.
Support for hosts
- Health Prom have produced cultural sensitivity sheets to support hosts to support their guests. They are available in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
- The Sanctuary Foundation has a free online course for sponsors covering refugee safety, wellbeing and support
Information for charities
- The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) has blogged about the complex responsibility of charities and voluntary organisations as people from Ukraine arrive in the UK.
- Save the Children has prepared a resource to help navigate conversations about war with children.
- Refugee Action has issued advice on how to help, including highlighting the importance of donating cash, not goods.
- Future Learn is offering a free online course offering advice and guidance on the care and protection of unaccompanied and separated refugee and migrant children who are moving across and between countries.
