A national youth organisation is urging those working with young people in the North East to let them know about its summer activities offer.
The National Citizen Service brings together young people aged 16 to 17 from different backgrounds for a unique shared experience, providing them with the chance to mix with a new crowd, learn new skills for life, take on new challenges and build lifelong friendships along the way.
The scheme, which runs throughout the summer with a range of dates on offer, will help our young people smash the whole ‘adulting’ thing and live life to the fullest, whether budgeting for a food shop, answering questions with confidence or presenting to a room full of people without freezing up. Not only that, but they'll take all they've learned and turn their passions into action, with the tools and a team to make a lasting impact on the issues they care about.
