VONNE is recruiting a Health Champions Programme Manager to support our work as a partner in the ICB’s Healthier and Fairer workstream.

The key focus of this role will be on building on our successful NENC Health Champions Pilot Programme, which aims to develop a community champion model to be rolled out at scale across the North East & North Cumbria, building on learning from local COVID and Cancer Champion models.

The successful applicant will be an experienced manager, self motivated with significant community engagement and partnership working experience. They will have an understanding of the VCSE sector and its contribution to tackling the wider social determinants of health and the health inequalities agenda with an ability to build relationships across sectors at both strategic and grass roots level. They will have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences to promote collaboration within the health and wellbeing field. 

The role is open to both direct application and secondment options.
