The Bungalow Partnership is a successful registered charity providing a wide range of therapeutic support and working extensively with children, young people, adults, families, and carers across the Tees Valley.  The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Deputy Director to join their team of highly experienced professionals, who is able to evidence considerable experience in managing a therapeutic team and is able to demonstrate effective and efficient operational management, have a strong background in safeguarding, along with experience of working with/ alongside education and social care systems.   

 

You will be responsible for the management of school contracts and referral processing and ensuring positive relationships are maintained with each of our partner schools.  Experience in contract management, safeguarding, working in partnership with Local Authority partners and quality control of casefile records is essential. 

 

A working knowledge of local and national legislation and guidance on working with children, young people and families is essential, as is up to date training and experience in regard to developmental trauma, ACES, child development and therapeutic approaches.  Knowledge of GDPR, Health & Safety Regulations and data protection is also required.  Experience in processing and managing client contracts and confidential records is essential.  You will need to be proficient in managing a busy team who work remotely across Teesside, have experience in working with a wide range of external partners, stakeholders and agencies and have exceptional planning, organisational, and time management skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong awareness for confidentiality and professionalism and a strong sense of emotional intelligence are essential.

Experience and success in fundraising, bid writing and Monitoring is essential.
