Health Improvement Practitioner - Physical Activity Specialist 

 

Up to 37 hours per week during centre opening times (8.00am to 8.00pm)  

Occasional Saturdays (9am – 1pm) 

 

£23,876.84 per annum

Role 

We are currently recruiting for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Health Improvement Practitioner to join our specialist Physical Activity team.  You will actively support clients across the region to tailor a safe and appropriate exercise programme that improves their mental and physical health working towards identified and agreed goals. You will also give them the confidence to better understand their health and take up regular exercise.   

About You 

You will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for health improvement.  You will be motivated to use your skills to make a difference for our clients who require enhanced support and information with their health needs. 

You will currently hold a level 3 Gym Instructor certificate or Level 3 Exercise on Referral.  You will be willing to undertake additional qualifications such as Postural Stability Instructor Level 4.
