Treasurer needed for Crossings Community Group
We are a small local charity working with refugees, asylum seekers, migrants and local residents through music. We offer free weekly sessions, where people can come to sing, learn to play an instrument, and socialise with others in a safe welcoming space. Instruments are provided and expenses refunded for those on low incomes.
We need a treasurer to liaise with our Project Coordinator in preparing financial reports for the AGM, funders and the Charity Commission. Other duties include making BACs payments and overseeing petty cash payments at sessions.
Financial experience and skills are essential together with a desire to help the integration of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants into the local community.
