Community Volunteer Coordinator
Part time up to 21 hrs per week – Fixed-term to 31st December 2024.
Up to £15,288 pa (pro rata based on £25,480 pa FTE).
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to join our team as part of our exciting new community volunteer initiative.
As the Volunteer coordinator for this new and exciting project, you will be working along side our Community Links Social Prescribing team. You will play a key role in developing this project, recruiting, training and supporting a team of community volunteers.
You will help to achieve our goal of bringing about direct benefits to the community through building on the skills and knowledge of those directly involved – increasing community assets, closing gaps in provision and ultimately supporting communities to grow and build resilience.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and develop effective relationships with volunteers, community partners and colleagues in Cygnus Support.
