Job Summary:

 Groundwork South and North Tyneside has been Changing Places and Changing Lives for over 30 years through a variety of environmental, learning, health and skills programmes: SOUTH & NORTH TYNESIDE – Groundwork

This role is a highly-visible one which will see you working alongside the Service Manager (Communities), Service Manager (Commercial), Service Manager (Education and Research) and Head of Business Development Manager to deliver our vision of Empowering Fair and Sustainable Communities Reducing Inequalities by supporting and enabling individuals and communities. Working alongside your colleagues and the wider Groundwork team, the role will help develop the Trust delivery of the following strategies and actions:

  • Deliver our 5yr Strategic Ambitions
  • Contract manage and deliver Green Doctor and Retrofit services, measuring impact and reporting to funders and partners.
  • Support the implementation of the first 3yrs of the strategic ambitions, including securing funding.
  • Develop an awareness raising campaign for sustainability, environment and climate change / climate action.
  • Support our Net Zero Action Plan with staff awareness and practical solutions for climate action and carbon savings.
  • Development new programmes and funding applications to further our services and support.

The role covers a combination of direct service facilitation and delivery in the community and project management to oversee operational tasks of a small team.
