We wish to recruit 2 – 3 Trustees to join us at an exciting time for the charity, as we plan to relaunch early in 2025 with a new name and expand our services and activities.

We work with people aged 55 and over in the East of Newcastle, currently offering befriending, handyman, small aids, and benefits advice services. We also own a community launderette, which runs a laundry collection and delivery service.

We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board. We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience of services for older people and strategic planning, and anyone who may wish to consider the role of Treasurer in time.
