We wish to recruit an enterprising and ambitious Manager to lead our employability and skills work in Sunderland, supporting participants to progress into work through providing innovative solutions to address barriers. The Manager will identify opportunities to enhance service delivery enabling the achievement of pre-set employment and training targets and supporting staff performance.
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering an employability project coupled with experience of managing a small team, the drive to exceed performance targets, excellent verbal and written skills and be confident in using Microsoft word and excel to produce reports and data interpretation documents. You will be required to represent the organisation at performance review meetings, attend networking meetings and external partner events.
The current postholder is retiring and will be available to provide handover training to the successful candidate. The role offers an opportunity to progress to manage wider contracts, including our voluntary provision.
