We have an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a local charity, working in new ways, to ensure children / young people who have a learning disability, or are autistic receive the right support, when their mental health means they are at risk of hospital admission; and to support their families. 

Hours: negotiable (Full time and part time available).  Secondment welcome.

Salary: £26,832 p.a. pro rata

Home based.  Travel within Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland, and North Cumbria with some attendance at offices in Newcastle upon Tyne.

North Cumbria posts ideally will be located in North Cumbria.

Duration: Permanent

About you

You will feel passionate about the rights of children, young people and their families; and enjoy working closely with them to ensure they get the support they need.  You will need an understanding of education, health and care services, relevant law and guidance, and feel confident about liaising with a wide range of colleagues. You will be comfortable working face to face and virtually.

Interviews will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne on 17th / 18th February 2025.
