About the Role:
Love, Amelia is seeking a compassionate, organised, and proactive individual to join our team. The Referrals Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end referral process, working closely with our referral partners to ensure that every child receives the right support at the right time. They will coordinate the preparation and delivery of essential items to families, making sure everything we provide is safe, age-appropriate, and in excellent condition.
Working collaboratively with our team and volunteers, the Referrals Coordinator plays a key part in delivering our service, supporting seasonal campaigns, and helping us respond to the needs of children and families across the North East. This is a hands-on and rewarding role that sits at the heart of Love, Amelia’s mission and providing practical support with care, dignity, and purpose.
The role requires someone who understands the needs of children, has excellent attention to detail, and can prioritise workload in a busy, dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who brings a non-judgemental, empathetic approach to their work, is confident taking initiative, and is committed to acting in the best interests of our beneficiaries.
About the Organisation:
Love, Amelia is an award-winning charity (1182062) supporting families with children aged 0 to 16 years experiencing poverty and hardship across the North East. Since our launch in 2019, we have been committed to creating a sustainable circular economy by collecting donations of new and preloved items and redistributing them to children who need them most.
The families we support are often facing deeply challenging circumstances, including poverty and unemployment, homelessness, and the aftermath of domestic abuse or human trafficking. Many are also struggling with the rising cost of living, making access to essential items even more difficult.
At Love, Amelia, we firmly believe that every child deserves equal opportunities and access to the essential items they need to grow and develop in a safe and healthy environment.
Our mission is to relieve poverty and hardship in babies, children and those who care for them by providing essential items, equipment and support to partner organisations and those in need.
Our vision is for every child to have the opportunity to be happy, safe and to thrive.
