Inclusion North is recruiting a Programme Manager to lead the delivery of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training programme on behalf of Good Life Collaborative, across the North East and North Cumbria.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, regionally rooted programme that is transforming how health and care services understand and support people with a learning disability and autism.
About the Role You will lead programme planning, coordination, and delivery across multiple partners, managing relationships, timelines, budgets, and reporting. This is a central role in ensuring high-quality, timely and impactful delivery. The position is hosted by Inclusion North and delivered in partnership with a number of local, values-led organisations that form Good Life Collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the programme across multiple organisations
- Set up and maintain robust project management systems and milestones
- Track progress, manage risks and produce clear reports for partners and commissioners
- Champion lived experience and inclusive practice throughout delivery
- Liaise with the ICB, NHS partners and local trusts to ensure alignment
- Deliver both Primary Care and Acute Care strands, including bespoke and Train-the-Trainer models
- Provide consistent programme support, communications and evaluation processes
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing programmes in health, social care, training or inclusion settings
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to lead complex multi-agency programmes to time and budget
- Strong understanding of learning disability, autism and inclusive approaches
- A collaborative, organised and inclusive leader with a commitment to equity and lived experience
