We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our thriving charity within Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading charities and we pride ourselves on being non-judgmental and impartial.
The ideal candidate will be committed to and promote the aims, principles and policies of Citizens Advice.
The successful candidate will play a vital and central role in ensuring the good financial health of the charity.
As the Finance, Bid Writer and Fundraising Officer, you will be required to assist in the preparation of monthly accounts, budgets and handle the day to day financial aspects of the business, plus any other ad hoc finance duties. You will be fully proficient in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
You will support the writing of commercial tenders and bids, as well as leading on trust and grant proposals (as required), that fully articulate Citizens Advice Sunderland's offer.
You will also secure funding from private and statutory grant-making organisations, and build a robust multi year funding base for our important work with our community.

Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 (depending on experience)

Job Type: 37 hours (part-time hours may be considered)
Experience:
- Accounting/Finance: 1-2 years (required)
- Fundraising: 1-2 years (desirable)
- Bid Writing: 1-2 years (desirable)
