Do you want to make a real difference to people facing financial hardship?

We’re looking for a Money Advice Caseworker to work closely with Gateshead Foodbank, supporting people who are struggling with debt, budgeting, and financial wellbeing. You’ll provide practical, compassionate advice that helps people regain control of their finances and move forward with confidence.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering money and debt advice at foodbank sessions

• Supporting clients with budgeting, debt options, and income maximisation

• Manage casework and achieve positive outcomes

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years’ money or debt advice experience

• Strong debt knowledge and great communication skills

• A money advice qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
