Newcastle Arts Centre is in a city centre location only 100 yards from Central Station train and Metro stations. A group of carefully restored historic buildings set around a private courtyard, the centre offers a choice of venues and studios with capacity from as little as eight people up to events for 150 post-lockdown. Facilities include broadband WiFi, digital projection and sound sytems. The venues have lift access and good ventilation. At present, catering is not offered, but simple refreshments can be provided. A Covid-safe cleaning programme is in operation and therefore agreed booking times must be adhered to, to ensure the required interval between events. Each floor has access to private toilets. Room hire starts from as low as £24 for two hours and discounts are available for not for profit organisations.
