Newcastle and North Tyneside Altering Images of Mentality (AIM) Group
AIM is a small charity that aims to enable and empower the local community to address all issues surrounding mental health in an effort to tackle discrimination and to reduce the stigma felt by people with mental health problems. AIM evolved from Newcastle and North Tyneside Health Promotion Department's World Mental Health Day planning group and it is still busy campaigning on or around 10 October each year.

We work with landlords to support hard to engage tenants threatened with homelessness through non payment of rent. We look to identify the root cause of their problems and take a holistic approach to address them.

The 700 Club, through the provision of hostel and short term emergency accommodation, floating support, and a Bond Scheme aims to move clients in housing need, who have high to medium support needs, to sustainable independence. We offer specialist services to those with drug and alcohol issue, including a project focused directly upon young people (16-18|).
