If you are looking for a role where you can make a real difference to the community working with a dedicated team who are all passionate about housing justice, then this could be the job for you!
The role and what you’ll be doing.
You will provide advice, casework and advocacy on a full range of housing issues to clients on our legal aid face to face contracts, covering Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and South Tyneside, as well as housing advice and casework on our non-legal aid services.
You must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ experience of legal advice, casework and advocacy in housing law with knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, court process and practices. You will have excellent organisational and client care skills and be able to work with minimal supervision, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
You will deliver advice across a variety of community setting across the region, so it will be useful if you hold a UK driving licence, although not essential.
