We are looking for an experienced community development worker with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can lead and develop new and existing projects. The primary objectives of the role are to increase and diversify the reach and engagement with people aged 50 and over in the city and to develop partnerships with other organisations to deliver projects for the benefit of older people.

Salary and Pension: This role has an annual salary of £29577 plus pension contributions.
Annual Leave: You will be entitled to 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
Working hours: This role is full time at 37.5 hours per week with the option of hybrid working. Our core working hours are Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
Contract: This role will be offered on a permanent contract basis

Key Dates:

Shortlisting: Shortlisting will take place 22nd August. You will be informed by email if you have been successfully shortlisted and invited to interview.
Interviews: Interviews will take place on Wednesday 6th September. This will be a competency-based interview with staff and Elders Council trustees. We will confirm who you’ll be meeting when this interview is arranged.
