We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager join our charity Meadow Well Connected, to lead the day-to-day running of The Meadows Community Centre and Community Gardens—a vibrant community hub dedicated to tackling inequality and fostering resilience among individuals and families in Meadow Well, Percy Main, and the wider North Tyneside borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Operational oversight: Oversee service delivery, ensuring alignment with our strategic plan.
Staff Supervision & Development: Lead frontline delivery staff, supporting recruitment, training, and performance management.
Operational & Financial Management: Manage budgets, and operational delivery while ensuring contractual compliance.
Risk Management & Safeguarding: Implement policies to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with the, trustees, funders, partners, and local agencies.
Community & Volunteer Engagement: Develop community led initiatives and enhance The Meadows volunteering offer.
Impact Measurement & Reporting: Use Evide CRM and Aedon finance software to assess performance and outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a community development or youth services environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for staff development.
Solid understanding of budget control, resource management, and funding landscapes.
Experience in risk assessment, safeguarding, and health & safety compliance.
Ability to create and foster positive stakeholder relationships.
An excellent communicator and creative thinker who thrives on innovation and adaptability.
