Children North East is an innovative charity and we are looking to recruit a Poverty Proofing Team Manager within the Poverty Proofing team to carry out the following tasks:

To support the Operational Lead for Poverty Proofing with the development of both the reach and impact of Poverty Proofing across healthcare settings (including Integrated Healthcare Board, Trusts and individual services) across the North East and Nationally.

To project manage the day to day operational planning, delivery, recording, monitoring and evaluation of Poverty Proofing activities in line with Children North East policy, service procedures and legal requirements.

To provide day to day line management support for all staff delivering Poverty Proofing interventions, including sessional workers, students and volunteers.

To oversee the development of Poverty Proofing activities, in healthcare and related settings, supporting the Operational Lead in generating income through sales, funding and tenders.

To support the Operational Lead in identifying and campaigning on issues highlighted by the work that will lead to transformative change at place and beyond.
