Headway Darlington and District is looking for someone to become Chair of Trustee Board. Our current Chair will step down in December 2025 having served for more than four years. Headway Darlington is a small charity with a turnover of around £35K pa. We support people with an acquired brain injury by providing a range of activities and services including a drop-in, arts and creative crafts, monthly trips out and ten pin bowling. We have a 12 hour pw Development Worker and a strong Board of Trustees. Funding is already in place to continue our activities for the 25-26 financial year and we believe funding for 26-27 should be in place by December 2025. We are looking for a strong leader who has an understanding of the voluntary sector, has served as a charity trustee and can work collaboratively with others to ensure the charity continues to thrive and develop.
