Are you passionate about supporting survivors and ensuring they get the emotional and practical support they need? We are the Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre, Darlington and Country Durham (RSACC). Our mission is to end rape and sexual violence in Darlington and Country Durham by supporting and empowering victims and survivors.

We a looking for a dynamic individual with experience of providing empathetic and high quality support to survivors or people with learning disabilities and additional support needs, that wants to bring this to a small local charity and join us in working to end rape and sexual violence in Darlington and County Durham

RSACC was established in 1990 and now supports over 1000 survivors each year. We offer free, safe support to survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. Our ISVA service provides emotional and practical support to survivors, many of whom are going through the criminal justice system. 

The role will report to the ISVA Manager and sit within a team of 8 existing ISVAs. The team supports survivors across Darlington and County Durham and will be based between our offices in Darlington and Durham, with some home working and some outreach working at police stations. This role is part time at 30 hours a week.
