The role

At Ability Consultants, we’re specialists in helping charities, community groups, schools, social enterprises, and CICs to grow, thrive, and make a bigger impact. While our clients focus on delivering their vital work, we provide the expertise and support that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

As our Administration Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both our team and our clients. From managing day-to-day administration and coordinating meetings, to keeping our systems and communications running seamlessly, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do. Your work will ensure our consultants and managers can focus on delivering the fundraising and project support that helps non-profits thrive.

You might already have experience in administration, business support, or communications - or you may be looking for your next opportunity to apply your organisational skills in a role that makes a real difference. Either way, you’ll bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities with confidence.

Role: Administration Officer | Hours: 16 hours per week (based on a 40-hour working week) | Salary: £27,040 (pro rata for part time employees) £10,816 FTE | Period: Permanent

Interviews: Week commencing 16th October 2025 (provisional)

Sifting will take place on an ongoing basis, if successful at sifting stage, we may decide to invite you to an initial virtual call, and if successful a face to face interview may follow.
