The Charlotte Straker Project is seeking new trustees to join our Board. Trustees play a vital role in shaping the long-term vision and governance of the charity, ensuring we deliver the highest standards of care and outcomes for our residents and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic oversight and governance, ensuring the charity operates in line with its mission and charitable objectives.

Monitor performance, review budgets, and safeguard the charity’s financial health.

Ensure legal, regulatory, and quality standards are met, including Charity Commission and CQC requirements.

Support long-term planning, constructive challenge, and decision-making in the best interests of residents.
Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome individuals committed to resident wellbeing and ethical governance. You should be able to think strategically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team. Some understanding of financial, operational, or regulatory matters is helpful (training provided where needed).
