The Charlotte Straker Project is seeking new trustees to join our Board. Trustees play a vital role in shaping the long-term vision and governance of the charity, ensuring we deliver the highest standards of care and outcomes for our residents and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and governance, ensuring the charity operates in line with its mission and charitable objectives.

  • Monitor performance, review budgets, and safeguard the charity’s financial health.

  • Ensure legal, regulatory, and quality standards are met, including Charity Commission and CQC requirements.

  • Support long-term planning, constructive challenge, and decision-making in the best interests of residents.

Who We’re Looking For:
We welcome individuals committed to resident wellbeing and ethical governance. You should be able to think strategically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team. Some understanding of financial, operational, or regulatory matters is helpful (training provided where needed).
