Some of the North East's Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs) offer additional business services to assist VCSE organisations with financial and HR matters such as payroll.

Here are the details:

Connected Voice Business Services

A charity finance specialist for more than 25 years, Connected Voice the LIO for Newcastle and Gateshead, offers a comprehensive accountancy and payroll service to more than 160 organisations.

Its qualified accountants have in-depth knowledge of community organisations and work directly with charity experts to provide a connected service. This means identifying and fixing the most complex issues relating to finance, governance, business strategy, project planning and funding.

100 per cent of the profits from these services are gifted back to Connected Voice to further its charitable work in helping local people and communities.

Switching is easy – whether you are switching from another accountancy service, an in-house team or setting up from scratch, the Connected Voice team will help your organisation put the most effective system in place.

Services include:

  • A complete payroll and pension auto-enrolment service, fully compliant with current legislation
  • Year-end accounts, Independent Examination and tax return support
  • QuickBooks training from a Certified ProAdvisor
  • Accountancy and bookkeeping
