The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) has released advice for charities and volunteers affected by the new vaccination requirements for health and social care workers.

The government recently announced that from April 2022, only fully vaccinated workers will be able to deliver Care Quality Commission (CQC) services. This will impact all those who have face-to-face contact with service users, including volunteers.

Charities involved in the delivery of health and social care services will need to consider the implications of this new requirement and plan for any changes that need to be made. Advice and further information on the measures can be found on the NCVO website.
