A call for evidence has been issued from Duncan Selbie, Chair of the joint North East Combined Authority and NHS Commission for Health and Social Care Integration, inviting voluntary organisations to participate in the commission which is exploring joint working to improve the health and wellbeing of local people and address health inequalities.
Some specific themes are being looked at within this broad agenda and individuals and organisations are invited from across County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland and neighbouring areas to submit written evidence which will be used to inform the work of the commission.
